NOTD #2

Here's a quick NOTD post:)

I've been obsessed with this color recently, I've painted my nails this color two times in a row now...and that never happens.

I even painted my toe nails this color! haha

The color I'm obsessed with is:

China Glaze - Flip Flop Fantasy

I saw this at ULTA for $7.50 and it immediately caught my eye.

It's a neon orange-y pink, perfect for summer.

It definitely makes your nails pop and I think it makes your skin look tanner.

This nail polish also dries SUPER fast. It has a matte finish so if you use thin coats, the nail polish dries by the time your done painting the other hand.  Since I did thin  layers, I had to do 3 coats to get it to the opaqueness I wanted.

The down side to this nail polish is how fast it chips.  Originally when I painted my nails this color, I wasn't at my house so I didn't have a top coat. Without a top coat, this nail polish started to chip off within 1 day.  I re-did my nails again and used the seche vite top coat and this time it's lasted me about 5 days with minor chipping.

I'm probably going to paint my nails a different color once the chipping gets worse, but I can already tell that this is going to be one of my go-to nail polishes for summer!
