Hi guys!</center>
<center>
<br /></center>
<center>
Happy New Year! (even though I'm a bit late)</center>
<center>
<br /></center>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi23LxQy6_EFN9xoZUCv-a-hETqRq7_53p-zSqXlEEi9lY2KrrplqI14CIAX7sy8hGKylX8FZL7xPxTD4yM9D7bzBX9zYBY_Siiw-o0T2YTJEnI0O3oyPnwOZZ444o9nZIA3gXYNFfTDy6B/s1600/10603504_10153416357157678_5726749315628713721_n.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi23LxQy6_EFN9xoZUCv-a-hETqRq7_53p-zSqXlEEi9lY2KrrplqI14CIAX7sy8hGKylX8FZL7xPxTD4yM9D7bzBX9zYBY_Siiw-o0T2YTJEnI0O3oyPnwOZZ444o9nZIA3gXYNFfTDy6B/s1600/10603504_10153416357157678_5726749315628713721_n.jpg" height="537" width="640" /></a></div>
<center>
<br /></center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
I know I haven't been good about updating my blog (the last blog post that I made was in ... November 2014 >_< ...) and I really want to get back to regularly updating, but I don't have enough time to blog as frequently right now. BUT that doesn't mean I'm going to stop blogging, I still <i>love </i>makeup and enjoy sharing my thoughts about products and everything related to makeup :)</center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
<br /></center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
A little bit into why I'm so busy/been busy...</center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
<br /></center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
So, this <i>is</i> my last semester in college (hopefully graduating this May!) but I ended up packing a lot of business classes that I needed to graduate into my last semester and I've been overwhelmed with stuff to do. (definitely was <i>not </i>a good idea, especially when you have a bad case of senioritis)</center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
<br /></center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
I also went to Japan during winter break, and for the entire time I was there, I just enjoyed seeing family and friends and didn't have much time to blog :/ BUT I will definitely do some more blog posts about my adventures and haul from Japan :D The picture above is from when I went to Kyoto! My friends and I rented kimonos and toured the city for a day - the weather was perfect and the scenery was amazing too.</center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
<br /></center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
I hope that everyone had a great winter break and is having a great start to the new year!</center>

<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-GdM1TM3zSl8/VGJFks7LUII/AAAAAAAAEUY/1wnTG0NyDI8/s1600/DSC05623.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="265" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-GdM1TM3zSl8/VGJFks7LUII/AAAAAAAAEUY/1wnTG0NyDI8/s400/DSC05623.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I'm pretty sure I have a weakness for red lipsticks. I picked this one up as a "fall red" - if such a thing exists. haha </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I didn't own any Bite Beauty lipsticks (I do have a lip pencil) and since I kept on hearing good reviews, I finally decided to get one!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Plus, Bite Beauty products are made with food grade ingredients so you can eat your lipstick (that sounds a bit weird but you know what I'm trying to say, right? haha) </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-_JTOAghAy08/VGJFqB0k9nI/AAAAAAAAEUg/9__tnTn5vnk/s1600/DSC05622.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="265" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-_JTOAghAy08/VGJFqB0k9nI/AAAAAAAAEUg/9__tnTn5vnk/s400/DSC05622.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.sephora.com/luminous-creme-lipstick-P283903?skuId=1321504">Sephora</a> ($24)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Packaging:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-LPOVU_EQjkI/VGJFjneeB1I/AAAAAAAAEUQ/3xQeG2Pm_9s/s1600/DSC05621.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="265" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-LPOVU_EQjkI/VGJFjneeB1I/AAAAAAAAEUQ/3xQeG2Pm_9s/s400/DSC05621.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The packaging is so unique and cute! The packaging has a nice rubbery matte finish (similar to the Nars product packaging). And the unique part is that the cap shape is different depending on the type of color? (I think) The one that I have has a curved tip. I think they're supposed to represent how different people's lipstick looks like as they use it. I'm a perfectionist when it comes to using lip products, so I like to keep the original slanted shape. haha</div>
<br />
Scent: Bite beauty lip products all have the same kind of scent. It might be because they're made of natural ingredients, but it has a "natural" type of scent. It doesn't bother me but it's definitely not a floral-y/sweet scent like other lipstick brands. I also think the scent disappears after the original application.<br />
<br />
Lasting Power: I wore this out one night without bringing this lipstick with me to touch up and it lasted me a good 4 hours (with lip liner). I also fell asleep with it on ><; and it didn't dry out my lips! I also had a nice stain when I woke up. haha<br />
<br />
Swatch:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-jv4ITr8v8xA/VGJFqZpzRyI/AAAAAAAAEUk/cSRpVz2AKpI/s1600/DSC05629.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="265" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-jv4ITr8v8xA/VGJFqZpzRyI/AAAAAAAAEUk/cSRpVz2AKpI/s400/DSC05629.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<center>
</center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
Sephora describes this as poppy red and it looks like a brighter red in this swatch, but in real life I think it has a bit more of a darker finish. I like to use this with a darker lip liner to make it a bit more vampy looking.</center>
<center>
</center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
Overall:</center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
I definitely recommend Bite Beauty lipsticks! They do live up to the hype! :)They are so pigmented, but moisturizing, non-irritating and apply so smooth. I guess the only thing I wish they would do would be to add more colors. I was looking at their pinks/nudes and I didn't see any that really stood out to me. I would definitely want to expand my collection if I found other colors I wanted!</center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
</center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
Have you guys tried Bite Beauty products? What are your favorites?</center>

<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-LNwRiJ_m9Ak/VGJKi0l390I/AAAAAAAAEWY/0ztB0YbEFyk/s1600/falldrugstorelip.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="424" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-LNwRiJ_m9Ak/VGJKi0l390I/AAAAAAAAEWY/0ztB0YbEFyk/s640/falldrugstorelip.png" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
As you guys probably already know, my favorite makeup products are lip products. Lip products are the one thing that just can't get enough of. Recently, I've stopped buying excessive amounts of foundations, eyeshadows, mascaras, eyeliners, blushes to try to use up what I already have. But, for some reason, I always can't stop myself from buying new lipsticks/glosses/balms.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
So I've been seeing a lot of Fall themed blog posts and I might be a little late on the bandwagon, but here's my fall drugstore lip colors post! I like wearing darker browns and reds during fall. But nude lips with smokey eyes are also great for fall (I included one mauvy-nude color).</div>

<center style="text-align: left;">
Can you tell that I like Revlon lip colors? haha I especially like the lip butters and the balmstains. </center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
</center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
Brown lipstick seems a bit scary in the tube, but it's a great fall color and it doesn't really show up as brown, more like a dark brick red because your lips are naturally pink/red. I also think that the burgundy color will work great during the winter too. I can't wait to wear a full burgundy lip during the holiday season!</center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
</center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
What are your favorite fall lip colors? I'm always looking for new colors:) </center>

<center style="text-align: left;">
ps. I finally figured out how to make a transparent overlay on the cover picture. I think it looks pretty cool! haha I used PicMonkey to do it. Let me know if you guys want a super easy tutorial on how to do it!</center>

<br />
Anyways, I picked this up at a Sephora a while back. The closest Sephora near my house doesn't carry Givenchy so I knew I <i>had </i>to pick this up when I saw a Givenchy station at a Sephora that was farther away. I've seen a couple Japanese youtubers talk about this product and had been wanting to try it for a while. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBspl8CPSjhIYMi9Yqgm7btgoGL3gsnSu9W7v0ROI1aDHdaw3tVoYh3RZSvmQNG30dFqYSE5M_GfubL6w5TBigwPmjTcqRjN7xD6X_EIZFpnKLi329WUkVd9phZxVOr2K0HXd-0ZjtrZ1r/s1600/DSC05353.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBspl8CPSjhIYMi9Yqgm7btgoGL3gsnSu9W7v0ROI1aDHdaw3tVoYh3RZSvmQNG30dFqYSE5M_GfubL6w5TBigwPmjTcqRjN7xD6X_EIZFpnKLi329WUkVd9phZxVOr2K0HXd-0ZjtrZ1r/s1600/DSC05353.JPG" height="265" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.sephora.com/le-rose-revelateur-magic-lip-gloss-P382311">Sephora</a> $30</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
It looks like just a normal tube of clear lipgloss, but would I really spend $30 on just clear lipgloss? nope. haha This lipgloss actually changes color on your lips and adjusts to the "perfect pink". It sounds really gimmicky but ... I still got sucked in to buying it. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The packaging is very classy and cute as well. It comes with a brush applicator so it is easy to get precise application. My favorite part would be the cap - it's mirrored and it has the Givenchy logo in pink on top. It's so cute :D</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

The applicator:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-5grTQUEvuFE/U_efjuffYlI/AAAAAAAAENQ/QbdfNVEjFJk/s1600/DSC05356.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-5grTQUEvuFE/U_efjuffYlI/AAAAAAAAENQ/QbdfNVEjFJk/s1600/DSC05356.JPG" height="265" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Scent: It has a sweet rose scent to it, but the scent isn't overpowering. Personally, I think it smells like the Givenchy Rouge Interdit lipstick but the scent is stronger and sweeter.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Lasting Power: This definitely is not a sticky gloss, so it doesn't last as long. But it feels smooth and moisturizing on the lips. The color also doesn't stain so compared to other darker colored glosses, the color wears off faster too. But, I think the whole point of this gloss is to add a slight pink tint to your natural lip color so it doesn't bother me that the gloss doesn't last very long. It's definitely my go-to lipgloss for days where I don't feel like applying anything thick/sparkly/bold on my lips. </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<center>
</center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
Overall:</center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
I do think that this lip gloss was overpriced but I'm glad that I picked it up. I probably won't be picking up any other Givenchy lip glosses anytime soon but I thought that the formula would be great for people who don't like sticky glosses. I sometimes have a problem with my lips peeling when I use new lip products but this gloss didn't irritate my lips at all <i>and </i>left my lips feeling moisturized. Like I said above, this is my go-to gloss for a natural look. You could always use this lip gloss to top off any colored lipstick, but I think the color adjusting quality makes it cool enough! haha If you are looking for a little high end "treat yourself" gift, this would be a great pick! </center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
<br /></center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
Let me know what you guys think of Givenchy products! I definitely want to try more when I get the chance too :)</center>

I was never that interested in highlighters but ever since I started to watch essiebutton on youtube (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/user/essiebutton">here</a>) and heard her raving about this highlighter, I had to try it out. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
To start off, I don't really own that many highlighters so I don't have many to compare this with, but if you are looking for a golden highlight, this will for sure end your hunt for golden highlighters. haha</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-jT8Oz-NxmAo/U_egmv3ZKTI/AAAAAAAAEN4/-vKNLZtdcK0/s1600/DSC05347.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-jT8Oz-NxmAo/U_egmv3ZKTI/AAAAAAAAEN4/-vKNLZtdcK0/s1600/DSC05347.JPG" height="265" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I bought mine through amazon but you can also get it on theBalm website and sometimes, Hautelook does theBalm sales and you can pick it up on sale!</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.thebalm.com/mary-lou-manizer.html">theBalm</a> ($24)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.amazon.com/theBalm-681619700583-Mary-Lou-Manizer/dp/B0065I8MC4">amazon</a> ($17.99)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://m.hautelook.com/events/all">Hautelook</a> (site homepage), but right now they are having a sale and Mary-Lou Manizer is on sale for $12!! <a href="https://m.hautelook.com/event/62208">theBalm sale</a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
theBalm packaging is always so cute! I don't own any other theBalm products but the packaging is nice and solid and it has the retro american-ish vibe to it, which I like. And the names are always cute too. The highlighter comes in a sleek compact packaging with a snap closure and mirror. The compact itself is pretty thin so it's easy to slip into your makeup bag as well.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-0tNcufInvss/U_egqZJv0yI/AAAAAAAAEOU/z65F91qtTSo/s1600/DSC05348.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-0tNcufInvss/U_egqZJv0yI/AAAAAAAAEOU/z65F91qtTSo/s1600/DSC05348.JPG" height="265" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
And here's the back! 8.5 g of product (I've been using this every day but I haven't even made a dent in it so this will last you a <i>long </i>time)<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-nB46KuY8xqA/U_egqY1gg3I/AAAAAAAAEOM/r3uKdvqj8r8/s1600/DSC05349.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-nB46KuY8xqA/U_egqY1gg3I/AAAAAAAAEOM/r3uKdvqj8r8/s1600/DSC05349.JPG" height="265" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Like I mentioned above, I've been using this everyday since I got it a couple weeks ago and I <i>love </i>it! I use it on my cheekbones (which I don't really have, so this creates an illusion of light hitting my cheekbones. haha) and a little bit on the bridge of my nose. I also like to use this as an inner corner eyeshadow for a pop of golden shimmer. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I like that this is a golden highlighter because it goes better with my skin tone. I have yellow undertones so gold goes well with my skintone but with that being said, I think this is a pretty universal highlighter that would look great on anyone!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I've noticed that it does fade throughout the day and golden shimmer does get on your hand if you start touching your face too much. (But it doesn't move around if you don't touch it). </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
Swatch:<br />
This gives you a <i>super </i>golden glow. You definitely need to use a light hand on it or else you will most likely pass the "slightly sun-kissed golden" look to the "did she dip her face in golden shimmer?" look haha<br />
<br />
It also applies very smoothly and there are no "chunks" of glitter. I've also swatched this with my finger and the powder is so buttery too (reminds me of Urban Decay eyeshadow consistency).<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-0WO6G85xcgc/U_egq02uSxI/AAAAAAAAEOI/x_4KQR9aPm8/s1600/DSC05374.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-0WO6G85xcgc/U_egq02uSxI/AAAAAAAAEOI/x_4KQR9aPm8/s1600/DSC05374.JPG" height="308" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Overall, I'm glad I picked this up! and now I know why Estee raves about it! This product has also made me want to pick up different highlighters too. It may seem like an extra step that won't make much of a difference, but this definitely brightens my face up and I love having the slightly dewy look :)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Do you guys own this highlighter? Or do you have any other recommendations? Let me know! :D</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

I always end up saving up all of my Sephora reward points but when I saw the YSL 500 pt reward, I knew I <i>had </i>to get it. Which meant that I was going to need to order something online... which meant that I ended up getting more than one item....haha </center>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-XkAH5lLjriQ/VBRZuTxt3ZI/AAAAAAAAERA/NEB4reNfxKI/s1600/Bxaz-rxIIAEji3L.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-XkAH5lLjriQ/VBRZuTxt3ZI/AAAAAAAAERA/NEB4reNfxKI/s1600/Bxaz-rxIIAEji3L.jpg" height="400" width="400" /></a></div>
<center style="text-align: left;">
<br /></center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
It looks like a lot of stuff, but most of it is actually just samples :D</center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
(From left to right):</center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
<ul>
<li>YSL Rouge Pur Couture Lipstick in 01 (this came in the 500pt reward)</li>
<ul>
<li>I only own YSL Volupte Lipsticks so I'm excited to try this formula out.<br /></li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>I love how hydrating these are, I haven't used them as a cheek tint but they feel good on my lips!<br /></li>
</ul>
<li>Clinique Take the Day off Cleansing Balm <a href="http://www.sephora.com/take-the-day-off-cleansing-balm-P126301?skuId=886267">here</a> ($28.50)</li>

</ul>
<li>Benefit They're Real! Push Up Liner (Deluxe sample - free)</li>
<ul>
<li>After hearing mixed reviews about this, I wanted to try this out and see how I felt about it.<br /></li>

<li>YSL Dessin du Regard Waterproof Long-Lasting Waterproof Eye Pencil in Black Ink (included with 500 pt reward)<br /></li>
<li>YSL Mirror (included with 500 pt reward)</li>
<ul>
<li>This was the main reason I wanted the reward. haha (it wasn't the makeup!) I wanted a cute mirror and this mirror came in such a cute case <span style="background-color: white; color: #545454; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: x-small; line-height: 18.200000762939453px;">♥</span><br /></li>
</ul>
<li>Elizabeth & James Nirvanna in Black (Perfume sample - free)</li>
<ul>
<li>This seems to be a bit too musky/heavy for me. But it'll be a good fall/winter scent.<br /></li>
</ul>
<li>MyNY by DKNY (Perfume sample - free)<br /></li>
<li>Laura Mercier Lip Glace in Tulip <a href="http://www.sephora.com/lip-glace-P109906?skuId=1598614">here</a> ($25)</li>
<ul>
<li>I fell in love with this color when I swatched it and even though I usually don't go for pinks, this was an exception.<br /></li>
</ul>
<li>Lancome Advanced Genefique Youth Activating Concentrate (100pt reward)</li>
<ul>
<li>I've always heard good stuff about lancome serums and I wanted to try one out. I don't think I'll be buying serums anytime soon (especially after seeing the full price for some of them) but samples are nice :)</li>
</ul>
</ul>
</center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
<br /></center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
Well, that's it for my Sephora haul this time! What scares me a bit is that I'm about $100 away from becoming VIB Rouge....that is a whole lot of money just spent on makeup D: I think I'm going to need to start using up my collection before doing any more hauling. (or that's what I tell myself after each makeup haul....haha)</center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
<br /></center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
Have you guys bought any new makeup products recently? :)</center>
<center>

I've recently realized that brows can really make or break a makeup look. And ever since I dyed my hair brown (which ended up being dark brown because of my natural hair color...) I decided to try and lighten my brows to match my hair color.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
That's when I picked up Anastasia's tinted brow gel in brunette. It's the 3rd lightest one out of the 7 colors but I decided to go lighter because my eyebrow hairs are already so dark to begin with.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg0Zu0BBLgUnBtVbMwpsdO9Z89ZcY48GIDmFaFYQcT1cW5K4p_GSOwmdp6M-cZrJRGwqhO4Kc0p3f1jLdZUxyVWFd7071fDR3m92APv5lwV0ZVC02CooY4JgJ8NF7THcekgA4Yl7T67RBIf/s1600/DSC05360.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg0Zu0BBLgUnBtVbMwpsdO9Z89ZcY48GIDmFaFYQcT1cW5K4p_GSOwmdp6M-cZrJRGwqhO4Kc0p3f1jLdZUxyVWFd7071fDR3m92APv5lwV0ZVC02CooY4JgJ8NF7THcekgA4Yl7T67RBIf/s1600/DSC05360.JPG" height="400" width="265" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.sephora.com/tinted-brow-gel-P187202?skuId=998856">Sephora</a> ($22)</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-45P4-9fV5kU/U_edOMy8bxI/AAAAAAAAEKQ/jGwiOtnU8P4/s1600/DSC05361.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-45P4-9fV5kU/U_edOMy8bxI/AAAAAAAAEKQ/jGwiOtnU8P4/s1600/DSC05361.JPG" height="265" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
The packaging is pretty simple and what you would expect for a brow gel. Length wise, t's very similar in size to the Maybelline Great Lash mascara. The brush/spoolie's general shape looks like an oval when you look at it from the side. The middle is the thickest, the ends are smaller. <br />
<br />
The brush size is really similar to a mascara brush head, which is nice to use for the thick parts of your brow, but I've had some problems trying to get the thinner parts of my brow without getting the gel on my skin.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-WSL6J6jCtYM/U_edJ2LJaeI/AAAAAAAAEKA/v9wQMX8wc-4/s1600/DSC05362.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-WSL6J6jCtYM/U_edJ2LJaeI/AAAAAAAAEKA/v9wQMX8wc-4/s1600/DSC05362.JPG" height="265" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Swatch:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-16H0Duzw4RE/U_ejTCWic-I/AAAAAAAAEPM/9E9h501uu10/s1600/DSC05377.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-16H0Duzw4RE/U_ejTCWic-I/AAAAAAAAEPM/9E9h501uu10/s1600/DSC05377.JPG" height="265" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
In the package the gel seems like it has a golden sheen to it, but when you apply it to your brows you can't tell that there is a sheen. This keeps my brows in place all day and it slightly lightens the colors of my brows. Like I said earlier, my brow hairs are super dark so using this brow gel, I only get a medium dark brown color. But, with my hair color right now, it's a perfect match :)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Overall, I didn't think that this brow gel is a <i>must have</i> but it is nice to have. I wish there were more drugstore brand tinted brow gels because I don't think I would have spent $22 if I had found a drugstore brow gel that had a good color range. But, with that being said, it's not a bad brow gel at all. It definitely lasts all day (although, I'm not sure if it's waterproof) and sets my brows in place for the whole day. It has relatively good color payoff considering my natural brow color as well. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I don't think I would repurchase it, but I've heard a lot of rave reviews on the Anastasia brow wiz brow pencil, so I think that's going to be next!</div>

Before summer is officially over, I wanted to do a NOTD post that seems appropriate for summer. For some reason, I have a tendency to think white nails = summer. White pops against tan skin and I think it also makes you look tan-er! Definitely a good color for the end of summer when your tan is starting to fade :)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I used to have a super old Sally Hansen white nail polish but since it was getting goopy I picked up OPI Alpine Snow at Nordstrom Rack (Just a side note, I think I paid full price for it, so it wasn't discounted at Nordstrom Rack). It was a little streaky on the first coat, but it ended up evening out by the second coat. I was able to get a crisp white color and the nail polish lasted longer than my Sally Hansen white.</div>

<div style="margin: 0 auto; width: 600px;">
<div style="position: relative;">
It's almost the end of summer (even though I hate to admit that) so I've been looking at new boots for the fall/winter season and I've finally narrowed it down to these 3!<br />
<br />
<a href="http://www.polyvore.com/boots/set?.embedder=3324600&.svc=blogger&id=132866916" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" target="_blank"><img alt="Boots" border="0" src="http://cfc.polyvoreimg.com/cgi/img-set/.sig/F0KXwjs99dxVxY5eMf5YQ/cid/132866916/id/HqdBWNsq5BGDmqhxZFZllw/size/c600x627.jpg" force="1" height="627" title="Boots" width="600" /></a>I've always wanted Hunter rain boots but now I just can't decide if I should get the original or the glossy. I guess rain boots aren't really for the fall/winter but I can wear these in the winter time as well.<br />
<br />
UGG boots are a must have for the winter where I live. They're super comfy and keep your feet warm. The last pair I had got destroyed so I think I'm going to get them in black again but maybe the one with the button on the side.<br />
<br />
And finally, the Sorel boots. These are also a must have for the snow and it snows a decent amount where I live. I love the look of these boots and thick wool socks paired together ><<br />
<br />
I still haven't decided which pair I am going to actually going to buy, but I will definitely keep you guys updated!<br />
<br />
Have you guys done any fall/winter shopping yet? Even though I love summer, I also kind of want to bring back my comfy sweatshirts and sweaters :)</div>

If you have been reading my blog from a couple months back, I posted a Spring/Summer Makeup Wishlist (<a href="http://beautyinstitches.blogspot.com/2014/05/springsummer-2014-makeup-wishlist.html">here</a>) and I mentioned I wanted to try the NUXE Rêve de Miel Ultra-Nourishing Lip Balm. But, that was before I realized that it was $19 for 0.5 oz. I decided that I didn't really need that lip balm that bad even though it had great reviews.... Until, I came across the NUXE Rêve de Miel Lip Moisturizing Stick on amazon for $9. (And thank you to anyone who has been following my blog for that long, I know I've been slacking on my posts recently ><)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-X_E1Yw6g8T4/U_eezdCWKgI/AAAAAAAAEMg/ClF2LFdU-bA/s1600/DSC05339.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-X_E1Yw6g8T4/U_eezdCWKgI/AAAAAAAAEMg/ClF2LFdU-bA/s1600/DSC05339.JPG" height="400" width="265" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004MZR1ZG/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1">amazon.com</a> ($9)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I know that $9 is still a lot for a lip balm, but since I had an amazon giftcard, I decided to go for it. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-EOgMQdsurRw/U_ee1hCUCtI/AAAAAAAAEMo/_dSzwkICNkY/s1600/DSC05340.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-EOgMQdsurRw/U_ee1hCUCtI/AAAAAAAAEMo/_dSzwkICNkY/s1600/DSC05340.JPG" height="400" width="265" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
When I first opened the packaging, I was disappointed because the balm had fallen out and the top was already squished. But, that was most likely my fault because my amazon order was sitting outside in the heat for a couple of hours. Anyways, I squished the balm back in and everything was fine. haha But the tip of the balm is probably supposed to be more slanted. Mine is already worn down :(</div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The packaging is nice and sturdy. The cap locks into place easily and it reminds me of the Nivea stick lip balm packaging.</div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The scent reminds me of lemons. It's lemons mixed with something...and I can't figure out what the other half is. On the packaging, it says that the lip balm is made with honey and sunflower so maybe the other part is the mixture of those two? The scent doesn't bother me, but it's not sweet smelling or artificially scented like a lot of other lip balms. If you don't like the scent, it does wear away and it's also not that strong so it shouldn't be much of a problem.</div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The balm glides on <i>super</i> smooth and it's very soothing to apply. There's no cooling sensation but it's still soothing. I love applying this. This balm also doesn't irritate my lips at all! I like to use my Burt's Bees lip balm but it stings my lips when my lips are already chapped. This one has no stinging and it moisturized my lips. </div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Overall,</div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This lip balm ranks in my top 3 lip balms. It's great for my sensitive lips and it keeps them moisturized. I just don't like the price tag. I've been using this sparingly, but I think that if it runs out I'll probably end up buying it again or even the $19 one. Supposedly, the $19 one is more thick and great for night time use, so I might need to try that out as well.</div>

I previously did a review on the NYX butter glosses <a href="http://beautyinstitches.blogspot.com/2014/05/nyx-butter-gloss.html" style="text-align: center;">here</a>, but I wanted to update that article with two more butter glosses that have been added to my collection. I'm not going to re-review these glosses so click the link above to see what I wrote before. BUT, I will say that these are one of my favorite drugstore lip glosses :)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-V6ncQawAZ60/U_ehK-NGvAI/AAAAAAAAEOo/vpZeGSO7ju4/s1600/DSC05363.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-V6ncQawAZ60/U_ehK-NGvAI/AAAAAAAAEOo/vpZeGSO7ju4/s1600/DSC05363.JPG" height="400" width="265" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I was influenced by Claire from <a href="https://www.youtube.com/user/ohhaiclaire">heyclaire</a> on Youtube to get the color Creme Brulee. I got Eclair in the June 2014 ipsy glambag. Both of these colors are out of my comfort zone - color wise. I usually gravitate toward bright pigmented colors rather than nudes and pale pinks. </div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-gqr3-fRSQSk/U_ehMAAaO2I/AAAAAAAAEOw/1T_0kIEqpcw/s1600/DSC05364.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-gqr3-fRSQSk/U_ehMAAaO2I/AAAAAAAAEOw/1T_0kIEqpcw/s1600/DSC05364.JPG" height="265" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
For me, Creme Brulee is a bit too nude and it doesn't cover my natural lip color so I have been using it over bright lip colors to tone them down a little. It creates a perfect milky color mix with bright colors. If you have a lighter natural lip color, you could probably get away with wearing this by itself.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I was originally skeptical about how pale pink Eclair was, but this has surprised me as well! I can actually wear this lip gloss on its own and it looks good especially since it doesn't nude out my lips completely. I also like to layer this one with darker pink lipsticks for a more glossy baby pink look. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I think the main difference between these glosses and the two that I had reviewed previously is the pigmentation. These two shades are much lighter, so if you have fine lines on your lips, they do become noticeable (especially with Creme Brulee). The darker colors are so pigmented, they don't accentuate the fine lines.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Swatches:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
These were taken under direct sunlight so the glosses look much more pigmented. For people with darker natural lip colors, your natural lip color will show through for both of these shades.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiaY_9YUeNxd9z4Pqb-4U5GWCB-dwqxxRV1vo7MvvwVQyMzXNRh08ylGxyNmnVuOX8CPP2xrKGMeJnsInDrj-Q52LoW8BIxjpUg0WAjgeTYkEUTuftJuDHFYmlCZvEc_Lz70HS4-YAFNnrW/s1600/DSC05367.JPG" height="382" width="400" /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
L: Creme Brulee, R: Eclair</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Overall,</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I'm glad that I have both of these colors in my lip gloss collection. They are different from most of the glosses that I own and they are great quality for the price! (They're $4.99 at Target and sometimes you can even get them for cheaper when they go on sale at ULTA). </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Do you guys own butter glosses? Do you like them? And also, let me know if there are other butter gloss shades that I need to try out!</div>

I recently took off my shellac nails and after having shellac on for 2 weeks, my nails had grown quite a bit without chipping!! (my nails usually start to chip when they grow longer). I decided to look online for some nail inspiration and came across the "half french" nail design. (If you type "ハーフフレンチ ネイル" into Google image search you'll get a ton of cute nail design results!) They're not as hard as normal french nails because you don't need to be as precise.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I also decided to mix it up and go for a couple different colors and some design. The dots were created by dipping the tip of a paperclip in nail polish and then placing it lightly on the nail. I also used the studs that I purchased a while back from amazon. (you can read more about it <a href="http://beautyinstitches.blogspot.com/2013/07/notd-5.html">here</a>).</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Hi guys!</center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
<br /></center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
</center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
I've been MIA for the whole summer and I wanted to apologize for the lack of posts.... </center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
<br /></center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
</center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
This summer, I had an internship and moved to a different state for about 2 months for my internship. It has definitely been an interesting summer filled with so many new experiences. I can't believe that next week is August and I'll be starting my senior year in college. Everything has gone by <i>so </i>fast. </center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
<br /></center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
<br /></center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
</center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
Anyways, back to blogging, I had intended to blog during my internship and even brought a camera with me. I did do a lot of makeup shopping... but the blogging part didn't happen. haha For the first time ever in my life, I lived about 5 min away from an ULTA (definitely dangerous) and the mall was about 10 min away (which had a Sephora). And the Sephora that was close by was much bigger than the one I live near back at home and it had more brands like<i> </i>Givenchy and Guerlain :D </center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
<br /></center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
</center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
My internship ends early August, so I'll be heading back home soon and will definitely be back to blogging before school starts. If anyone has any blog post requests, let me know! :)</center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
<br /></center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
</center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
I hope you guys are all having a great summer :D</center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
</center>

For some random reason, I felt like my makeup collection needed a little cleaning session and being a huge makeup hoarder that I am, I came up with only a couple items that needed to be thrown out >_< </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I know I have a lot more makeup products that are <i>way </i>past their expiration date...but I guess I'll leave those until another day. haha</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
So before I throw out these products, I thought I'd do a mini-review like an empty products post.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Qzex-f6ax4E/U356EYshvJI/AAAAAAAAD_w/oZYjtMFtp2o/s1600/RIMG0049.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Qzex-f6ax4E/U356EYshvJI/AAAAAAAAD_w/oZYjtMFtp2o/s1600/RIMG0049.JPG" height="480" width="640" /></a></div>
<center>
<br /></center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
<ol>
<li>em lash gallery mascara - this came in an ipsy glam bag last November so it was way past the 3 month mascara expiration date. I liked it but... I didn't think it was that special. The retail price is $16 which I though was too expensive for a normal performing mascara.<br /></li>
<li>L'oreal Voluminous false fiber lashes mascara - Another mascara that was past its 3 month expiration date. haha I usually don't like fiber mascaras from US drugstore brands because the fibers fall out throughout the day <i>but </i>this one held up throughout the day! I used this mostly as a bottom lash mascara and this was great for lengthening. The wand was skinny (and long) so it was easy to use for my bottom lashes.<br /></li>
<li>Wet n Wild 904B - I bought this a <i>loooong </i>time ago and I think I picked up a defective product. This lipstick was super dry to begin with but I just couldn't throw it away. The color was nice though, a dark rose color probably best fit for the fall season.<br /></li>
<li>Rimmel Match Perfection Concealer 335 light/medium - This product was a "miss" product for me. The coverage was okay but the product dried really cake-y on my skin. The color was also a bit off from my skin tone too.<br /></li>
<li>Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Tac-Free Mineral Face Powder in Beige - I liked this powder a lot, but this got lost in my makeup collection :'( and I ended up forgetting about this #makeuphoarderproblems. haha I'm throwing it away because I didn't want to risk breaking out since this powder was old. But, I do recommend this :D (a great drugstore brand powder).<br /></li>
<li>Elf Cream Eyeliner in Coffee - I really liked this product but this dried out >_< I hadn't used it for a while and then when I unscrewed the lid...the eyeliner just popped out D: The lid seemed pretty tight though... :/ (I have a more in depth review <a href="http://beautyinstitches.blogspot.com/2013/02/elf-cream-eyeliner-in-coffee.html">here</a>)</li>
</ol>
</center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
Have you cleaned out your makeup collection recently? It's always good to go through your collection once in a while to rediscover some items you've forgot about :D</center>

A while back I bought an OCC sample pack that had 4 mini original OCC lip tars. I like the original lip tar finish but for a regular school day, I feel like they are a bit high maintenance. That's why when I decided to buy a full sized lip tar, I went for the stained gloss type which give a glossy finish (and in my opinion, much easier to wear on a daily basis).</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-WjG4d43zLPA/U3qduDwDogI/AAAAAAAAD_g/1HleeFEZA3k/s1600/RIMG0034.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-WjG4d43zLPA/U3qduDwDogI/AAAAAAAAD_g/1HleeFEZA3k/s1600/RIMG0034.JPG" height="400" width="227" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.sephora.com/lip-tar-stained-gloss-P379819?skuId=1523976&icid2=ObsessiveCompulsive_Bestsellers_Carousel_P379819_image">Sephora</a> $18</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Packaging:</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-sBrMDotClgU/U2-oIA4FXiI/AAAAAAAAD-o/qRGsMuzpNw0/s1600/RIMG0036.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-sBrMDotClgU/U2-oIA4FXiI/AAAAAAAAD-o/qRGsMuzpNw0/s1600/RIMG0036.JPG" height="245" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I forgot to take a picture of the original package this came in, but all lip tars come in a plastic pouch which includes the lip tar tube and a lip brush. For the normal lip tars, I would recommend using the lip brush, but for these, you can use our fingers for a more casual lip stain kind of look. I like the concept of the lip tars, but I do think they are hard to carry around for touch ups. Especially if you want to bring your lip brush, the brush doesn't come with a cap so you need to be careful about throwing it into your makeup bag.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
Color:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-6n-2sH8yiZc/U2-oILV65AI/AAAAAAAAD-c/pL-QQoDA40Q/s1600/RIMG0035.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-6n-2sH8yiZc/U2-oILV65AI/AAAAAAAAD-c/pL-QQoDA40Q/s1600/RIMG0035.JPG" height="340" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I bought the color Meta which is a bright pink/red but there are 13 colors in total which ranges from nudes to plums. The one I have is very pigmented (all of the lip tar colors I own are <i>very </i>pigmented) but that may differ depending on what color you get. This color is a creme finish but I did see some that had shimmer particles in them.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Scent:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The scent isn't fruity/sweet at all, all the lip tars that I've tried have a slight minty scent to them. The mint scent doesn't sting your lips like the Burt's Bees Lip Balms, it just lingers for a little bit after application and it doesn't bother me at all.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Staying Power:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
After the glossy effect wears off, I notice that this stains my lips a little bit which makes the color stay on longer. The color probably lasts me about 5-6 hours (ish). Sometimes I feel like this dries out my lips a little so when I apply a lip balm over this, the color doesn't last as long. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Overall:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This is a great summer lip color! I love the juicy finish that it gives my lips. The color reminds me of my Milani Color Statement Lipstick in Flamingo Pose (reviewed <a href="http://beautyinstitches.blogspot.com/2013/08/milani-color-statement-lipstick-in.html">here</a>). Compared to the original lip tars, I think the stained gloss series are low maintenance and are a great alternative to the lip gloss/lipstick hybrids that seem to be very popular recently. I haven't even come close to finishing this package so I don't think I'll be buying more of these soon, but if I were to choose, I would pickup another bright summer-y color :)</div>

If you saw my cumulative haul post, <a href="http://beautyinstitches.blogspot.com/2014/05/cumulative-haul.html">here</a>, you probably saw that I've been buying a lot of new lip products and many of my recent reviews have been mostly lip product reviews. Today I'm switching it up and doing a blush review that I've been meaning to do for a while now.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The Clinique Cheek Pop blushes were just released this Spring and comes in 4 different colors. For some reason, on the Clinique website you can't buy Ginger Pop but you can still get it on Sephora.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Packaging:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I have to admit, I originally picked this up because I couldn't resist how cute the packaging/blush was. It was just so perfect for Spring. haha The blush comes in a clear but very sturdy plastic package and it has a nice weight to the packaging. It's not the type of flimsy plastic packaging that you might get at the drugstore. And the blush, as you can probably see, is engraved with a flower design. <i>so </i>pretty.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-dU6nXX-uRHU/U2-n6fI_gjI/AAAAAAAAD-A/G--DjIViFmA/s1600/RIMG0032.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-dU6nXX-uRHU/U2-n6fI_gjI/AAAAAAAAD-A/G--DjIViFmA/s1600/RIMG0032.JPG" height="373" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Color:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
After swatching all of the blushes at Sephora, I decided on peach pop because I felt like I owned similar colors to the other blushes and for some reason I gravitate toward orange colors in the spring/summer. Peach pop is a coral-y pink (peach) color. This is definitely a buildable blush. On the first swipe, I didn't get much color so the swatch is with 3 swipes of product.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Finish:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
There are not visible chunks of glitter/sparkles in the blush but you do get a bit of a sheen when you apply it. I think a slight sheen on blushes make them look more natural looking than completely matte ones, so I like these types of finishes.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
Swatch:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-n-al9ytJqAw/U2-n60OhQ6I/AAAAAAAAD-E/JPvnW_vZMrU/s1600/RIMG0042.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-n-al9ytJqAw/U2-n60OhQ6I/AAAAAAAAD-E/JPvnW_vZMrU/s1600/RIMG0042.JPG" height="337" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Staying Power:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I've noticed that a lot of the blushes that I own fade throughout the day but this one lasts a bit longer than the others. I wouldn't say that this is my longest wearing blush, but it lasts over half a day for me (probably about 6 hours).</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Overall:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I also didn't mention that this product has a very unique texture. In the packaging it's very dense and non-powdery but it applies like a powder blush. But since it's not really a powder blush, you don't get the powdery mess that some powder blushes can make. I like the product formula, but the one downside would be that you need to build up the color. For some reason my brush doesn't pick up the product too well in just one swipe. Other than that, I really like it and would probably try out a different color if they expand the line :)</div>

A couple weeks ago when I went to the mall with my friend, The Body Shop was having a half off sale(?) on some products - I think. I don't really remember now >_< but that's when I picked up this lipstick. I saw some swatches of these Colour Crush lipsticks online and they looked pretty promising. They are usually $12.50 but I got mine for half the price. I would definitely wait for The Body Shop sales, they usually have pretty good sales :)</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Packaging:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The packaging is pretty simple. Nothing special but I also don't really have anything bad to say about it either. It does feel a bit cheap compared to MAC lipsticks which are just a couple dollars more expensive. The cap has a clear top, but since the cap is tinted, you can't really figure out what color the lipstick is from just looking at the top. The bottom sticker matches the lipstick color. </div>
<center>
<br /></center>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg7SyrXSVSoGDAFGfywgFNX2iKLlxK9NYQclzW1qJlQMwZ9qyHo6Dau_85vPYxI_i6yJc4FsMiIVAgYeIiLSgxSMLTebc0h67kkSuSWPSxcsp6yBaKd03hTXnJaJnn7X74AkuyRvoM_Am95/s1600/RIMG0039.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg7SyrXSVSoGDAFGfywgFNX2iKLlxK9NYQclzW1qJlQMwZ9qyHo6Dau_85vPYxI_i6yJc4FsMiIVAgYeIiLSgxSMLTebc0h67kkSuSWPSxcsp6yBaKd03hTXnJaJnn7X74AkuyRvoM_Am95/s1600/RIMG0039.JPG" height="338" width="400" /></a></div>
<center style="text-align: left;">
Color:</center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
I picked up the color 130. I looked online to see if it had a name, but I couldn't find it....It seems like these lipsticks have color ranges, (nudes, reds, pinks) and they are organized by their lid color. Color 130 was in the red range. I would describe this as a medium coral.</center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
<br /></center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
Scent: </center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
These have a faint fruity scent - I can't decide on what fruit it is, I think it has a sweet watermelon/apple like scent. The scent isn't overpowering and I think most people won't mind it. </center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
<br /></center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
Finish:</center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
Frost - Even though my swatch picture isn't the best quality, you can still see the sparkles/frosty finish of this lipstick.</center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
<br /></center>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-BuMHmmLX1Tw/U2-nt2yH_II/AAAAAAAAD9k/d4oqNRY1JCs/s1600/RIMG0040.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-BuMHmmLX1Tw/U2-nt2yH_II/AAAAAAAAD9k/d4oqNRY1JCs/s1600/RIMG0040.JPG" height="300" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
Staying Power:<br />
These have normal staying power, probably about 3-4 hours without eating/drinking. For this lipstick, after the color wears off I noticed some sparkles remaining on my lips. <br />
<br />
<center style="text-align: left;">
Overall:</center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
I would say this was a "miss" product for me. I usually don't like frosty lipsticks and I think that the frosty finish is the main reason I don't like it. In the store, it didn't look very frosty and the color looked nice (I'm pretty sure the sale also had something to do with me picking this up. haha) I like the color, texture, scent of this - just not the finish. I might try out a creme finish in the same line, if I see another sale going on. I think that these are a bit overpriced at their full price, but they are nice lipsticks if you can get them on sale. </center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
<br /></center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
Have you guys tried any other Body Shop cosmetics? </center>

I've always wanted to try out out a MAC paint pot and finally picked one up a while ago. Most of the time, I've seen these being used as eye shadow bases so I bought a color that I could as a base. </div>

The packaging is simple. It comes in a glass jar and a screw on lid. The lid closes pretty tightly so it prevents the product from drying up. So far, I haven't had a problem with the product drying up.</div>

</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
The NYX Butter Glosses have been quite popular with beauty bloggers and since it was a "drugstore" product, I picked up 2 shades.<br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<strike style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-t8__n51pu9o/U2j9dOrhnfI/AAAAAAAAD8I/e101FieEhnQ/s1600/RIMG0019.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-t8__n51pu9o/U2j9dOrhnfI/AAAAAAAAD8I/e101FieEhnQ/s1600/RIMG0019.JPG" height="400" width="271" /></a></strike></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Left: Peaches and Cream</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Right: Peach Cobbler</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjYete6p4-j1VhJVOP9KfX3Vl6zOSiy7UYbP7ZM_JlUcJ5WxFnTYSD8eoFQOCs7jpWN0JsHpvDKZveGCyMwdfnbdmm9pBQOsQabZl2-4fJOz1-v2WC5FK5AcvDoVk-aTluFdRl__p0FW6Hc/s1600/RIMG0022.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjYete6p4-j1VhJVOP9KfX3Vl6zOSiy7UYbP7ZM_JlUcJ5WxFnTYSD8eoFQOCs7jpWN0JsHpvDKZveGCyMwdfnbdmm9pBQOsQabZl2-4fJOz1-v2WC5FK5AcvDoVk-aTluFdRl__p0FW6Hc/s1600/RIMG0022.JPG" height="283" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Packaging:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The package itself is slightly longer than a normal lipstick tube, and it has the typical lip gloss packaging structure. The whole packaging is plastic and the color of the tube reflects that color of the gloss. All the different shades have different colored packaging so it's easy to see which one you want to pick out.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Applicator:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
It's a standard doe foot applicator. Nothing special, but it also applies the product nicely and is easy to use.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-iP3VtePpXGY/U2j9dGjz5bI/AAAAAAAAD8A/cdONZCGO1JY/s1600/RIMG0021.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-iP3VtePpXGY/U2j9dGjz5bI/AAAAAAAAD8A/cdONZCGO1JY/s1600/RIMG0021.JPG" height="302" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Scent:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I'm pretty sure that both of these have the same scent so I'm guessing that all the other butter glosses have a similar scent as well. It's a sweet vanilla/candy like scent. I don't think it's too overpowering though. I sometimes don't like vanilla-y scents but I don't mind the scent of these glosses.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Color:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Peaches and Cream - medium pink, blue undertones</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Peach Cobbler -orange-y red, yellow undertones</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
As you can probably see from the swatches below, they have quite a bit of color payoff even though they are glosses.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Staying Power:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Because these are a gloss, they will wear off more easily compared to lipsticks and stains. But, I think they have a relatively longer staying power especially if you don't eat/drink. They fade naturally and since they are very creamy they keep your lips moisturized too.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Finish:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
These don't have any glitter in them (which I like!) and they have a glossy finish when you first apply them but as they wear off, they leave behind a little bit of color. Not enough to stain your lips though.</div>
<br />
Swatches:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi46O1hYrrhyphenhyphennuvkURaRZnMLfWyCwrPPuNHbUtBAd4CKgIEqQlBE-qi1UwO1_BCUTh1D6o0thnvNdt0dVLoyExvYmZHLbXEqdukhI0-1H5cm0z2wL7iWMbXGgAoagZ5Z1TjYU6dTE9S9qOy/s1600/RIMG0023.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi46O1hYrrhyphenhyphennuvkURaRZnMLfWyCwrPPuNHbUtBAd4CKgIEqQlBE-qi1UwO1_BCUTh1D6o0thnvNdt0dVLoyExvYmZHLbXEqdukhI0-1H5cm0z2wL7iWMbXGgAoagZ5Z1TjYU6dTE9S9qOy/s1600/RIMG0023.JPG" height="293" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Left: Peaches and Creme, Right: Peach Cobbler</div>
<br />
<center>
</center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
Overall:</center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
I <i>love </i>these 2 colors! I like to use these when I want color on my lips but something more moisturizing than a lipstick. These colors don't accentuate the lines on my lips, but I did read some reviews/heard people saying that with the lighter colors, the gloss sunk into the their lip lines. I might try out one lighter color and see how it applies, but I think I'd rather pick up another brighter color. I would recommend Peach Cobbler for the summer season!</center>

</center>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I caved and finally bought my first Dior lipstick! These lipsticks are most appropriately named Dior Addict Lipsticks. haha </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-aGH-coXENoE/UwEwr9bIpbI/AAAAAAAADZk/c5Y7bJofiTY/s1600/DSC04992.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-aGH-coXENoE/UwEwr9bIpbI/AAAAAAAADZk/c5Y7bJofiTY/s1600/DSC04992.JPG" height="400" width="265" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.sephora.com/dior-addict-lipstick-P282501"><br class="Apple-interchange-newline" />Sephora</a> ($32)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The color that I decided on was Dior Kiss, a very usable everyday medium pink color.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgAXZeH8KdG1uKNY4fOoR9K9LuLaQJwZyHfbxQLWWlkwgN4uBSDWirJAWJfdhesi9qCDRGF-lI5hgtT3mPnquhCht6MpAHrnVeonx5l3CTu0O9-qqo_4pk_gsbTN-GtIhhsoyUumKROrWVF/s1600/DSC04993.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgAXZeH8KdG1uKNY4fOoR9K9LuLaQJwZyHfbxQLWWlkwgN4uBSDWirJAWJfdhesi9qCDRGF-lI5hgtT3mPnquhCht6MpAHrnVeonx5l3CTu0O9-qqo_4pk_gsbTN-GtIhhsoyUumKROrWVF/s1600/DSC04993.JPG" height="265" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Packaging:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The main difference between the conventional type of lipstick packaging and these are the way you store them. Usually the tube side of the lipstick is on the bottom and the cap is up. For the Addict Lipsticks, the tube side is rounded so you need to store them with the cap on the bottom. I just love how the tube is slim, and elegant looking. I also <i>love </i>how the clear packaging looks. Sometimes when it catches the light, it gives off a iridescent shine. Definitely cuter than the Dior Addict Extreme Packaging (in my opinion).</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
That was a lot of information just about packaging haha.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Wear Time:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Since this is such a neutral pink tone and close to my lip color, it fades nicely and I don't feel like I really need to touch up. It probably wears about 4 hours (?) - I haven't tested it out but I feel like it has a relatively normal wear time compared to my other lipsticks. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The color shows up nicely in one swipe and it also leaves a slight sheen (lustre finish) on my lips. It's also comfortable to wear, it doesn't dry out my lips either.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
In the tube, it looks brighter than what shows up on my lips.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-DEzFC22nK2A/UwEwruKMjuI/AAAAAAAADZg/cId-HUCqmQc/s1600/DSC04994.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-DEzFC22nK2A/UwEwruKMjuI/AAAAAAAADZg/cId-HUCqmQc/s1600/DSC04994.JPG" height="265" width="400" /></a></div>
Swatch:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhZvE0p1UyFtaRE_cCBi_9rItJ0Zte9Ye9zOQQKrWM3bOZpxt_dVG2QVKIq1evC0s6idZRl5KNBa6xzCmSXXUg3U5kvzwkgdBN6TewWVThHYr7KStpPA4cACPZ9_yGbEHYDriw-L-stD-xy/s1600/DSC04995.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhZvE0p1UyFtaRE_cCBi_9rItJ0Zte9Ye9zOQQKrWM3bOZpxt_dVG2QVKIq1evC0s6idZRl5KNBa6xzCmSXXUg3U5kvzwkgdBN6TewWVThHYr7KStpPA4cACPZ9_yGbEHYDriw-L-stD-xy/s1600/DSC04995.JPG" height="265" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This color is a bit more pinky-er than my normal lip color so it adds a nice subtle finishing touch. The pink isn't too overpowering, and I could probably wear it with a no-makeup makeup look too. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Overall,</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I think I've found another MLBB (my lips but better) lipstick! I can already tell that this is going to be a color that I'm going to reach for when I need to do more professional looking (work) makeup. The price is a bit steep...almost the same price as a YSL lipstick. I don't think I'll be buying a lot of these anytime soon, but if I find a color that I like, it's going on my makeup item wish list! haha</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Let me know if you guys have any Dior lipstick recommendations:D</div>

One day I was scrolling through my instagram and I saw one of the girls I was following had a gorgeous red lip color on and I commented asking what it was. She told me it was MAC's Viva Glam Rihanna lipstick and I ended up getting it. haha</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.maccosmetics.com/product/shaded/12326/29624/New-Collections/Viva-Glam-Rihanna/Viva-Glam/Viva-Glam-Rihanna-Lipstick/index.tmpl">MAC website</a> ($16)</div>
<br />
The color is gorgeous but the packaging is pretty too! It's shaped like all the other MAC lipsticks but the packaging has a rubber-y feeling to it. (It reminds me of the NARS packaging). <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgz9L5kq8xKPvEFqohY8Qhm9eDHrrv6XTIVLT07U3Seij5szdPWE7pfYuKa80jvjnguglMCuLbI7BCXSF39m479UjdSkiBrDx8-tcEN4040fNAHcFQb9dRsLWVKYtG6XV6D1-9sIRtAq86j/s1600/RIMG0010.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgz9L5kq8xKPvEFqohY8Qhm9eDHrrv6XTIVLT07U3Seij5szdPWE7pfYuKa80jvjnguglMCuLbI7BCXSF39m479UjdSkiBrDx8-tcEN4040fNAHcFQb9dRsLWVKYtG6XV6D1-9sIRtAq86j/s1600/RIMG0010.JPG" height="331" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
It's a frost finish, which I usually don't like...but the sparkles aren't chunky and it doesn't dry out my lips. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Swatch:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhGugEGpWgzNphiBbKhN97mmORiysUsyzQkjcTlqBRDKtvbphyphenhyphen2kmOVYheBwEc-2wfr-Wo5dZBF406NvGlbLTb4UO878DCNS1Fgnp3vZC6njbBGKepeDX1N1bzk8Wo7aqjQ9_pM8xAlSXgZ/s1600/RIMG0011.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhGugEGpWgzNphiBbKhN97mmORiysUsyzQkjcTlqBRDKtvbphyphenhyphen2kmOVYheBwEc-2wfr-Wo5dZBF406NvGlbLTb4UO878DCNS1Fgnp3vZC6njbBGKepeDX1N1bzk8Wo7aqjQ9_pM8xAlSXgZ/s1600/RIMG0011.JPG" height="387" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Compared to most of the red lipsticks I own, this is a "blue-red". I usually tend to go for yellow/orange reds so this was a great addition to my collection:) </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Overall, I'm glad I picked this lipstick up! Most of the time, I don't have the chance to wear such a bold lip color, so usually I blot it on and use it like a stain which makes it a wearable everyday color. I just can't get enough bold lip colors >_<</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
It's limited edition so make sure to pick it up soon if you want to try it out!</div>

I am finally done with my junior year of college (and finals!). I ended up being busy with school during the last half of the semester and I didn't have time to update my blog :/ But, I did have time to go shopping :D haha so I'm going to start off with a HUGE cumulative haul post! </center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
</center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
All of these products were bought over February - now so I have a <i>lot </i>of stuff. Some items I picked up at the Sephora VIB sale and others I picked up through random shopping trips. Some of the products are also half used already because I forgot to take pictures when I bought them >_<</center>

Last Friday, I stopped by the mall after school to pick up some new makeup :D </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I was in need of a little retail therapy (or so I tell myself...haha) The main product that I wanted to get was brow gel, but that led to other MAC products and a stop by the Origins counter too. haha</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
MAC Brow Set in Beguile $16</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
MAC Lustre Lipstick in Plumful $16</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
MAC Paint Pot in Soft Ochre $20</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Origins A Perfect World Age-defense treatment lotion with White Tea $23</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<center>
</center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
I'm planning on doing a separate review for each product later when I have more time and when I've had time to use them. Recently, I've been reaching for less eye shadow so I wanted a skin colored eye base that I could use to lighten up the eye area. And after seeing Jenn from <a href="http://www.youtube.com/user/clothesencounters">clothesencounters</a> and Estee from <a href="http://www.youtube.com/user/essiebutton">essiebutton</a> use MAC's plumful, I wanted to try that color out as well! I think it's dark enough to wear right now but it would also work great for the spring and summer.</center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
</center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
</center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
</center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
</center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
</center>
<center style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="text-align: left;">And just because I didn't have time to do a full review/post on my February Ipsy Glambag, I decided to add this on to the end of this haul post. haha </span></center>

<center style="text-align: left;">
</center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
I really liked my bag this month! The false lashes were a bit cheap feeling and they probably won't last for multiple uses, but it's always good to have a set of super voluminous lashes you can use for special occasions :) I'm most excited about the ZOYA polish, but I just haven't had time to paint my nails yet...I will definitely need to do that after all my midterms/presentations/papers are done D: </center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
</center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
</center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
</center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
</center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
I just have so much school stuff piling up right now. Does anyone else feel like that too? Maybe it's because we're hitting the (almost) halfway point of the semester? haha</center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
</center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
</center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
</center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
Anyways, I've been slacking on blog posts recently but hopefully I can do some short posts here and there! And to anyone else who's having a stressful time at school/work - let's get through this together! haha</center>
